It’s GiveNOLA Day! Nonprofit organizations can make an impact in a way government simply cannot

Andy Koplin with the Greater New Orleans Foundation joins Newell to talk about GiveNOLA Day, a 24-hour online fundraising event that supports local nonprofits across the Greater New Orleans area. It’s organized by the Greater New Orleans Foundation and typically happens each spring (usually early May). During that one day, people are encouraged to donate to participating nonprofits—everything from animal rescues and schools to arts groups and social services.
