Jamie Yuccas is a CBS News correspondent based in Los Angeles but she still makes time for her hometown with Chad Hartman every week. Chad first asks about the number one issue out in Los Angeles. Jamie talks about the heat surrounding the LA mayoral race and a billionaire tax. She also speaks to the palpable anger towards current Mayor Karen Bass much of which stems from how she handled the Palisades fires. Jamie and Chad talk about the challenges for mayors of major cities, how long it's been since LA had a mayor that they felt could get things done and some of the main issues that the city (still) needs to address.
