An armed gunman carrying a long gun breached an elementary school in Oregon yesterday by shooting through the door locks, leaving three children and one teacher dead, along with another child and educator wounded. The school lacked both armed teachers and school resource officers; however, an armed civilian present at the scene pursued the gunman inside and neutralized the threat.
