The voice of the Saints Mike Hoss and former NFL and LSU defensive lineman Marlon Favorite are live from Rouses in Metairie for a special Halloween edition of Sportstalk! They break down what they've seen from both LSU and the Saints up to this point in the season. And they look ahead to the second half of the year for the 6-2 Tigers and the 2-5 Saints.
In hour 2, Mike and Marlon discuss which teams have been the best in the SEC so far this season and where LSU fits into that equation. Also, Chris Gordy, host of the Locked on SEC podcast joins the show to give his thoughts on his biggest games around the conference this weekend, including Tennessee-Kentucky. He also lays out LSU's path to the college football playoff and reasonable expectations for quarterback Sam Leavitt for the rest of the year.
And in hour 3, Marlon and Mike discuss the future of college football, including more restrictions on the transfer portal and the expanded 24 team college football playoff (which is ridiculous). Plus, Jim Eichenhofer, writer for Pelicans.com, joins the show to preview Pelicans vs. Hawks, give his thoughts on what he's seen from the team through it's first six games and which players need to step up for the Pels to start winning some games.
