Veteran Democratic Political Strategist, author, and professor, Donna Brazile joined guest host attorney, Janice Mathis during On Point with Juandolyn Stokes to discuss the political landscape; especially in Georgia where she urged listeners to vote and vote early to re-elect, Raphael Warnock to the Senate and elect, Stacey Abrams as governor.
Brazile reminded listeners that Georgia's election is as crucial today as it was in 2020 in shaping the future of the United States. Brazile also reminded listeners that while we have many powerful Black women running for political office and many cases winning; it was not until the 1965 Voting Rights Act was passed that Black women got the right to vote.
