During the Y98 pregame show, Jen Siess visited with former St. Louis University Billiken and current CITY Striker, Simon Becher, ahead of the team’s road match out to the west coast to face the LA Galaxy. Recently celebrating his 27th birthday, Becher talked about coming back from the World Cup break for a gritty 3-2 win over rival SKC at home, sharing his why’s for digging deep into hustle when at full exhaustion on the pitch. He also talked candidly about balancing the pressure that the #9 spot comes with finishing goals, while acknowledging other contributions not often seen in game stats. And, he talked about how playing the LA Galaxy would give him some face time with good friend, and former CITY Striker, João Klauss.
