During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited with Maddie DiMaria, St. Louis youth player who has had a tremendous soccer career already with Cor Jesu Academy high school, St. Louis Scott Gallagher club, and the US Youth National Team. Maddie talked about her award experience att the Espys plus receiving the National Girls Soccer Gatorade Player of the Year award for the second time. As she looks to play for UNC after her upcoming high school senior year, Maddie also shared her USWNT dreams, excitement for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, and hopes for the continued growth of opportunities for girls and women in The Beautiful Game worldwide.
