During the Y98 pregame show, Dale Schilly caught up with CITY Head Coach, Yoann Damet, ahead of the team’s second of three matches in eight days - right back out on the road to face rival SKC, in a location the team has yet to have a win in. Coach Damet talked about his pride in the squad’s mindset in terms of collective defending with togetherness, coverage, and a team-first mentality. As CITY players grow more and more comfortable with his system of play each game, Damet continues to focus on both collective and individual player improvements - and expressed a continued faith that the team’s success is built on preparation and a plan in facing any team, even a rival.
