During the Y98 halftime show, Jen Siess visited with Dr. Phil Woodmore, Director of Voice and Camps at COCA, Center of Creative Arts. Dr. Woodmore talked about how the COCA and CITY “Tina Turner” partnership game together to bring Tina’s legacy to life with her start in St. Louis, fusing music and performance with sports. He also shared COCA’s focus on helping to grow the next generation of creative artists in St. Louis. COCA will be playing a big role in CITY’s next game on August 22nd - a game that will celebrate Ms. Turner with performances by COCA and the St. Louis, along with Tina Turner music, themed merchandise, and more.
