The meeting of the Steves happens every Saturday around 4:06pm. He says the deer numbers are really good this year mostly because he’s seen lots of babies around does this year. The Steves talk about why hitting the deer in the right place matters more than the temperature when it comes to processing. They chat about the mild weather and its impact on ice fishing season but Steve says this is the best walleye October he’s ever had so maybe he can wait for the ice. He is however depressed with the state of the duck hunt, he’s not sure when they’re going to show up given the warm temps. He also gives an update on pheasant hunt conditions.
