The public plaza will be at 2550 N. Milwaukee Avenue near the Logan Square monument.
BLOCK CLUB CHICAGO reports most of the people living on and near the plaza construction site have left.
Some of the remaining homeless people are getting help from 35th Ward staff who will bring their belongings to a nearby church.
Some people living at the Logan Square encampment say they are choosing not to move into city-run shelters because of safety reasons.
