This hour, Sue Henry discusses Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s comments on the planned firing squad execution of former Army Major Nidal Hasan, who was convicted in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting that killed 13 people and wounded 32 others. Hegseth said the execution should be public so people understand the serious consequences of such crimes. The Pentagon announced plans to livestream the execution, scheduled for December 3. Sue also takes calls from listeners to hear their opinions and discuss the controversy surrounding the decision.
