LAUSD board member thinks additional layoffs could be prevented

The LA School Board voted last week to layoff 1,000 employees, as the district looks to close a huge budget shortfall. A former Board member thinks a big influx of money from the state could fill the gap and prevent even more layoffs. Jon Baird has the story.
