We started this election cycle with the possibility that two Republicans could advance to November in the governor's race, but the latest Emerson College poll shows the opposite, with Democrat Xavier Becerra leading with 28% support, followed by fellow Democrat Tom Steyer with 22%, while Republican Steve Hilton is in third with 21%.
