Duffy recounts local news story of a elementary school mental health presentation gone wrong. A 48 year old karate instructor gave a “presentation” which consisted of him demonstrating karate moves on one child who claimed it felt like he was breaking his arm and another child who the karate instructor put in a chokehold who promptly caused him to pass out. Kimmy, Tommy and Duffy all reminisced on times when their own school assemblies and presenters were evidently unvetted and potentially problematic for kids to be listening to. Also what’s up with hypnotists? Who thought that was a good idea.
