Biologically, a lot happens when we are asleep, and most bodies need about eight hours to get it all done. However, a study from UCSF has found that some people have a genetic mutation that allows them to sleep for a shorter period of time with the same benefits. Dr. Ying-Hui Fu, Professor of Neurology at UCSF, discussed with Kathy Novak.
