Caller Kevin keeps the food and rock arguments alive, leading us into Finding Nemo, Pixar and a side-by-side comparison of Roz from Monsters, Inc. with Rashida Tlaib. After the break, Shaquille O’Neal’s painted toenails and open-toe sandals start a studio fight over men getting pedicures. Then a Florida bakery’s missing cinnamon rolls produce the morning’s strangest twist: the courier does not steal the order but is detained by Border Patrol before completing the delivery.
Phil Omquist closes with September 4 music history, including the Sex Pistols, Fleetwood Mac, Steve Miller Band, Frank Sinatra, Keith Richards and some Elvis trivia from Linda. Then we return immediately to the Clancy courtroom as defense attorney Kevin Reddington presses the judge over the holdout and prosecutors argue against removing the juror for anything tied to deliberations. Linda says the proceeding risks becoming a separate trial centered on the juror rather than Clancy herself.
