Full Show For Friday September 4 2026

Sean Farash and Dan Borowski take over Kayal and Company on a packed Friday as we spend much of the morning watching the Lindsay Clancy murder trial and its apparently deadlocked jury. We bring in attorney Linda Kearns to explain the reasonable-doubt instructions, the defense request aimed at a lone holdout, the possibility of a mistrial, what an insanity verdict could mean and why replacing a juror is such a difficult move. As the morning progresses, new courtroom comments from both sides turn the dispute into a fight over whether one juror is refusing to follow the law or simply refusing to change a vote. We also hit the stories driving Friday morning: 19 people go to hospitals after a broken can of insect spray fills a Deptford Walmart, Josh Shapiro and Stacy Garrity set their Pennsylvania gubernatorial debate, Flock cameras become part of the state political fight, and Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announces federal money for aging SEPTA railcars. Later, we discuss the random Times Square stabbing that kills Bank of America vice president Erin Piacenti, Donald Trump’s warnings to Europe about mass migration, the Iran conflict and gas prices, the Venezuela oil agreement, Broad Street speed cameras and JD Vance’s refusal to dump Tucker Carlson over political disagreements. Then we make room for the Friday insanity: thieves make off with roughly 70,000 pints of Guinness, Creed and Nickelback nearly tear the studio apart, Fight Club settles Fight of the Week, raw tuna starts a parasite argument, Shaquille O’Neal’s pedicure divides the crew and a supposed $3,000 cinnamon-roll theft turns out to involve a courier detained by Border Patrol. Phil Omquist closes Kayal and Company with September 4 music history before the Clancy courtroom takes over again. Sean signs off just after 10 AM, and the supplied file then moves into the opening minutes of The Dawn Stensland Show with Dan and Linda still following the Clancy case.
