No Forks, No Amnesty, No Apology

Dawn’s Big Three begins with the Delco Walmart shooting, the charges against Armani Tyrell Waite and video of shoppers returning after an employee is wounded. We react to reports that 10 shots are fired near the checkout line, question a shopper’s claim that people are lashing out because they are struggling and trade the kind of Delco jokes that only this crew can produce. The discussion keeps the injured worker and the terror inside the store at the center of the story. The second major story returns to Twin Falls, where Chad Williams opens fire outside an In-N-Out, three people die and seven are wounded. We watch the frightening video, hear witnesses describe helping a wounded worker and credit Jordan Salinas, an off-duty trooper and other people who return fire and push the gunman away. Dawn then brings us to Galloway Township, where a van crashes and burns outside Ridgewood Senior Living, 109 residents evacuate and firefighters keep a dangerous scene from becoming a mass tragedy. Dawn’s final major story covers FBI and EPA warnings about attacks on water and wastewater systems in at least seven states. We discuss suspected Iranian links, vulnerable industrial controllers, Trump’s Minnesota comments and the need for local, state and federal officials to harden systems and reassure the public. The show closes with flooded highways, Greg’s wet drive home, Lyle Lovett’s City Winery dates, jokes about his hair and catalog, and Dawn sending everyone out carefully as Nick makes an early exit.
