It's already difficult to return to school after winter break – but this year, the COVID-19 pandemic has thrown even more wrenches in the works. The winter omicron variant surge in the U.S. made the return to classrooms chaotic from coast to coast. So, what lessons did we learn from a contentious first two weeks of 2022, and how can we use them to move forward through the pandemic?
