Consumer sentiment is at its lowest level in deacades

The stock market continues to show gains, this is despite the fact that Americans are generally feeling bad about the economy. The University of Michigan is reporting that its index of consumer sentiment is at its lowest level EVER recorded in the 70 years it's been doing its survey.
