One person is dead following an officer-involved shooting in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, New Jersey Thursday morning.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. near Route 9 and Satt Boulevard.
The Cape May County Prosecutors office says the scene has been secured and there is no threat to the public.
Officials are not immediately releasing the details leading up to the shooting or the condition of those involved in the incident
The investigation is ongoing.
