A man and woman who allegedly organized a "pop-up" party that ended with violence nearly a year ago in
Glassboro has been indicted on charges of inciting a riot.
The Gloucester County Prosecutors' office says 19-year-old Serenity Hall and 19-year-old Elijah Evans hosted
a pop-up summer block party along Rowan Boulevard on June 29, 2025.
Investigators say a flyer was posted on social media with language encouraging disorderly and unlawful behavior toward law enforcement.
Officials say hundreds of people showed up, playing loud music, dancing on cars and blocking traffic. There were also fights, a stampede and gunfire.
Both Hall and Evans face up to 18 months in state prison.
