It was after 5 a.m. Sunday, when police say they found a 35-year-old man who had been shot several times in his back, chest, and leg on Kensington Avenue, near H Street in Kensington.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he died. Police made no arrests.
Hours earlier in the Northeast, police say a 64-year-old man was killed after getting shot in the face.
This happened after 11:30 p.m. Saturday along Wakeling and Jackson Streets in the Frankford neighborhood.
A 39-year-old man was taken into custody at the scene. He has not been charged.
