ATVs have been tearing through the neighborhoods of Berlin Township, Camden County, recently, and police say it’s been an ongoing problem.
Berlin Township police say the ATVs nearly struck a group of kids. In that case, they were able to track the riders down, charge them, and seize the vehicles.
Police say they’re not allowed to chase ATVs because it’s unsafe. But, they're able to use AI technology, facial recognition and drones.
They say, "This is REAL crime... which is creating a REAL danger on and off our roadways and we will no longer tolerate it."
