Gov. Josh Shapiro joined Pennsylvania State Police in honoring fallen troopers during a ceremony at Pennsylvania State Police Department Headquarters in Harrisburg on Monday.
Cpl. Timothy O'Connor was the 105th name added to Pennsylvania State Police's Memorial Wall. He was killed on March 8 after stopping an erratic driver in West Caln Township, Chester County. Police said after shooting O'Connor, 32-year-old Jesse Elks turned the gun on himself.
O'Connor was a 15-year veteran of the State Police. He is survived by his wife, Casey, and their daughter, Kenzie.
