We all know gas prices have been stubbornly high, but have you seen the price of diesel? It's skyrocketing.
The average price of a gallon of diesel in Philly is $6.52, according to AAA. That's 37 cents higher than last week and $2.59 more than a year ago.
Experts say the increased costs of shipping will trickle into all sorts of things we buy every day. Mark Wolfe with the National Energy Assistance Directors Association says we're not going to see any relief any time soon. Experts say you should expect to pay more for home heating oil this winter, because it's closely related to diesel.
