Friday Saturday Sunday is getting a boost from the state as it looks to expand.
The Michelin-starred restaurant has been awarded a $1.5 million grant from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program.
Friday Saturday Sunday says it will create "one of the most ambitious restaurants" in the country, with an open kitchen, group dining, and a "dedicated sweets room."
Two neighboring properties on Rittenhouse Square are part of the $7.5 million project.
The restaurant says it expects to create 100 jobs with the expansion over the next several years, becoming what it says is "a generational anchor" in the neighborhood.
