Saudi Arabia has confirmed that Yemen’s Houthi rebels tried to attack its capital with a ballistic missile.
It was the first attack targeting Riyadh since the escalation in fighting between the Iran-backed Houthis and Yemen.
Saudi officials say the Houthis also tried to attack civilian infrastructure in another city there but they were thwarted.
In other Middle East developments, Iranian officials say they've sent the U.S. their conditions for ending the war via mediators in Qatar.
Gas prices back home are still on the rise due to the conflicts. The average cost for a gallon of regular gas in Philly is up to $4.55. In South Jersey, it's $4.41.
