Two workers were hurt after the door to a supermarket loading garage collapsed in Radnor Township, Delaware County this morning.
Radnor Fire Chief Joseph Maguire says the call came in around 11:15 for the pair trapped at the Giant supermarket on Lancaster Avenue in St. Davids: "Workers were working on the roll-up door at the loading dock. Somehow they got trapped inside the roll-up door. One partially trapped, one fully encapsulated inside there."
Both men were extricated and taken to the hospital. Their conditions are unknown. Officials say the two were contractors, not Giant employees. The Giant remained open.
