Raynald Francois, 31, was charged with murder and possession of an instrument in a crime, accused of shooting and killing 17-year-old Zaafir Jerry last June. After learning he was wanted for the murder, Francois turned himself in and has been in prison since last September.
He opted for a trial by judge, and Judge Scott O'Keefe found him not guilty on both charges. Francois will now be released from prison.
