A man is fighting for his life in the hospital after he was shot several times in Mayfair early this morning.
It was close to 2 o'clock when police say the man was shot several times in his chest, back, and arms on Brighton Street, near Crispin Street.
Officers found the victim about a block away along Tyson and Frankford Avenues and took him to the hospital. He's in critical condition.
No arrests were made but police say they found shell casings at the scene. Three cars, one belonging to the victim, were also struck by gunfire.
A motive behind the shooting is unknown.
