There's a new, stricter nighttime curfew in place in Cape May.
Kids under 18 are banned from beaches starting from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
And they can't be out in the city — unless they're with a parent or guardian — after 10:30.
Police Chief Dekon Fashaw says curfews in other shore towns have been pushing kids into Cape May:
The ordinance also bans large bags from the beach and Cape May promenade at night.
