New Jersey State Police are renewing calls for help in solving a cold case dating back to 1982.
Authorities are trying to identify the skeletal remains of a man found in Brigantine 44 years ago.
Troopers say the body was in a marshy meadow area next to the Golden Hammock Thorofare in Atlantic County.
Investigators believe the man died between 1981 and 1982. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall, between 35 and 45 years of age, and they estimate he was about 165 pounds.
State police are asking anyone with information to contact State Police or Brigantine police. They say anonymous tips are welcome.
