We're learning more about Friday's officer-involved shooting that killed a man in Middle Township, South Jersey.
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office says two police officers shot and killed the man who was holding a knife to a woman in a car.
It happened around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Route 9 and Satt Boulevard.
Authorities say the officers found a disabled car there and heard screaming inside.
The cops forced their way inside and found the woman being held by the man with the knife. That's when the officers fired their guns.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman had multiple stab wounds and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
