Philadelphia is once again the poorest big city in the country.
The city's poverty rate is now 20.4%, up from around 19% last year, according to new data from the U.S. Census Bureau.
Their American Community Survey put nearby New York City at close to 18%, and Chicago's poverty rate is near 17%.
The survey determines the poverty rate by comparing household income to the cost of basic needs.
Last year, Philadelphia fell below 20% for the first time since 1979.
