Route 73 in Berlin Township, Camden County, has reopened in both directions after a large natural gas leak on Wednesday.
It started around 11 a.m. Fumes were seen coming out of the ground near Jackson Road.
Police warned of a strong gas odor and urged people to avoid the area.
Officials said the gas leak was caused by a construction crew that damaged the line.
