Two people are dead and eight are hospitalized after 11 people were shot in Trenton early this morning in Trenton.
Trenton Police say the shooting broke out at a gathering of some kind on Locust Street between Monmouth and Chambers Street, a block from Trenton Central High School just before 12:30 a.m.
It's still unclear how the shooting unfolded, but the scene on Locust Street is massive and investigators are still combing through it.
There's dozens of evidence markers in the street and at least one vehicle has been towed away with damage.
The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office is leading the investigation.
