Sixth measles-related death reported in Pennsylvania

Six people have now died of measles this year in Pennsylvania.

The Franklin County Coroner's Office says its investigation into the death of an unidentified 39-year-old woman found a past diagnosis of measles with treatment.

Officials say there were several other underlying conditions as well.

The coroner's office says this is the first measles-associated death in Franklin County "in many years," though they didn't say exactly how long it's been.

Officials did not reveal the woman's vaccination status. The other five people who suffered measles-related deaths this year were either unvaccinated or too young to be vaccinated.

Pennsylvania is dealing with its largest measles outbreak in three decades.
