Woman struck by hit-and-run driver while crossing Broad Street

Philadelphia police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who struck a woman in North Philly. It was around 9 p.m. Wednesday when a silver Cadillac was going south on Broad Street and hit a 33-year-old woman who was crossing Broad in the middle of the block, near Wingohocking Street. That's about a block north of the Roosevelt Boulevard. Police say the driver stopped, got out of the car, looked around, then got back in the car and drove away. The woman was taken to the hospital, where she is in critical condition.
