Grammy-nominated violinist, composer, and chili crisp maker (!) Chihsuan has built a career that is anything but conventional. Born in Taiwan, Chihsuan moved to the United States at 15 and went on to perform with legends including Yo-Yo Ma, Brian Wilson, and David Foster, while mastering everything from classical violin to the traditional Chinese erhu.
But when a horrific accident disrupted her life and career, a silver lining emerged; unable to use her hands for her instruments, her passion for food led her into the world of homemade chili crisp (Chi Chi), which is not only delicious but is the 'merch' she now sells at shows!
