The Yankees’ ALDS matchup with the Rays has Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber going in opposite directions. Tiki sees New York’s starting pitching and postseason experience carrying the Yankees in four, while Evan predicts Tampa Bay in four and warns that Gerrit Cole could put the Yankees in an immediate hole in Game 1. Shaun Morash lands on Yankees in five as the debate heats up over Cole versus Carlos Rodon.
Aaron Judge’s role also looms over the series, with the guys weighing whether his presence alone makes the Yankees better and how carefully he should be used coming off injury. Plus, Tony Romo and CBS part ways, the Giants’ J.J. McCarthy gamble gets another look, and the Jets’ offensive line comes under fire.
