Tropicana Field takes center stage as Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber rip a ballpark where catwalks can actually affect postseason baseball. Evan refuses to blame the stadium for the Yankees’ mistakes, but argues there’s no excuse for Major League Baseball to be playing October games under those conditions.
The conversation then turns from the Trop to Tampa Bay’s fans, with Evan challenging them to fill the building again if the Rays advance. Meanwhile, the Yankees’ looming elimination raises an even bigger question: could another familiar October failure finally cost Aaron Boone his job? Brian Cashman appears far safer, but running it back only to suffer the same postseason fate could force the Yankees to make a significant change.
