In The Loop opens the show asking a tough question about the Astros: was this ultimately a wasted season? It might sound harsh, but after the way things ended, it might also be the reality. Then the attention shifts to the Texans as Will Anderson Jr. discusses the injury to Azeez Al-Shaair and the “next man up” mentality, before the Question of the Day: Of all the moments during the Astros’ run, which one do you still think about the most? ITL then goes Around The NFL with the Cowboys making a big trade that could impact Sunday’s matchup with the Texans, Mike Tomlin showing off his Minecraft town, and more. Former Texan N.D. Kalu joins the show for his weekly visit, followed by What’s Popping in sports and entertainment. Later, ITL explains why Sunday’s game against the Cowboys could tell us everything we need to know about Nick Caley and the Texans offense. After this game, will there be any questions left about what this offense really is? Then it’s Lunch-Time Confessions and OG Buy or Sell. The show wraps by going Behind Enemy Lines with Bobby Belt of Shan & RJ on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas for the Cowboys perspective heading into Sunday. Then Figgy’s Mixtape takes over with a Throwback Thursday story from 2016 about a plumbing company whose truck somehow ended up on the front lines with ISIS, an adopted man discovering his biological father is Michael McDonald, and more.
