The guys started by discussing the Bears’ blockbuster trade to acquire star defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons from the Titans. Simmons will elevate the Bears’ defense and championship hopes. Another team playing well is the Packers, who improved to 5-3 with a 27-19 win against the Panthers on Thursday Night Football. The team that everyone is chasing in the division is the Vikings, who are 6-0 and could also be looking to fortify their roster ahead of the trade deadline. While the Packers have already done their work in Week 8, two showdowns remain involving NFC North teams.
