Full Show Description
The Drive with Stoerner and Hughley kicks off the show by asking how confident Texans fans should be heading into Sunday's matchup against the Tennessee Titans. With Houston sitting at 0-4, is this finally the week the Texans get their first win, or should fans be worried about another disappointing performance? Clint and Ron break down the biggest matchups to watch against Tennessee before reacting to a frustrating Thursday Night Football game between the Cowboys and Buccaneers. The guys then turn their attention to why the Texans defense suddenly looks so human after entering the season with high expectations. On the offensive side, they discuss C.J. Stroud not committing a turnover since the Bills game and whether Houston's offense is making progress. That's followed by the College Football Game of the Week as the guys look ahead to the weekend's action. Later, Clint brings another edition of Dirty's Daily, highlighting the things the Texans absolutely should NOT do against the Titans if they want to avoid falling to 0-5. The Drive also pays tribute to Pro Football Hall of Famer Mike Ditka following news of his passing, reflecting on his legendary career and impact on the NFL. Then the guys revisit their confidence levels heading into Sunday, with Figgy admitting he's nervous about Texans vs. Titans. The final hour features Five O'Clock Fire, covering the biggest sports stories of the day, followed by Dirty's Daily Dimes, where Clint shares his favorite sports picks heading into the weekend. The show wraps with The Drive's Weekend Predictions, as Clint and Ron make their picks and discuss whether the Texans can finally get that first win against Tennessee.
