The Pirates are just hanging around enough to have an opportunity. The Cardinals were a seller but are still ahead of the Pirates and only a few games out. If the Pirates finish below the Cardinals, Joe thinks Ben Cherington's job is on the line. There are still opportunities for the Pirates, but they need to take 2/3 from the Dodgers and beat the Padres in AT LEAST 2/3.
