Tom Verducci reported that the biggest problem for Paul Skenes is that he's lost his velocity. He doesn't think Skenes has the best break and spin on his fastball to get hitters out if its not at an elite velocity. He has gone through mechanical changes to try to get his power back. Skenes tried to fix something that wasn't broken and hasn't been able to get it back.
