He doesn’t like the Aaron Rodgers postgame comments about suggesting play calls to the coaches. Does Mike McCarthy have plays in his bag to push the ball down the field with Rodgers as his QB? Ben thinks McCarthy should simplify things for Rodgers because he was on his back far too often Sunday afternoon at 42-years-old. Ben said most QBs tend to navigate horizontally in the pocket if they run into trouble. Ben brought up the first game he ever started in the league and can’t believe his numbers were comparable to Rodgers on Sunday. Ben thinks DK Metcalf has the yips and isn’t sure how it gets solved. Ben said the Steelers have to use what they have because nobody is coming to save them on offense. How should McCarthy feel about subtle jabs from Rodgers after 1 loss? Ben isn’t sure if what is happening with the offense is a McCarthy problem or simply a Father Time problem when it comes to Rodgers. Ben commented on their play sequencing and why that isn’t helping matters through 2 games.
