Former Pitt/NFL QB turned CBS analyst Ben DiNucci joined the show. Ben says that he and Mike McCarthy used to bond over their Western Pennsylvania heritage when he played under McCarthy in Dallas. Ben says that he thought that Drew Allar played very well in his first preseason game, and it makes sense that the coaches would be impressed with him. Ben thinks that the next step for Drew Allar in continuing to earn trust from the coaches is to be able to tell what is going on when the huddle breaks, at least consistently. He also says that he expects Will Howard to get the first shot at being QB2, as he has an extra year with the team over Allar.
